About the casino: Treasure Mile casino is a small, neglected online casino, part of the infamous Genesys Group (also known as Lotus Players Club Casinos, full, official name of the owners is Genesys Technologies N.V., often hiding behind the shell company Ardway Limited as well).

Genesys also uses the following names to hide behind:

• Lotus Affiliates
• Ultimaterevenue

 

It’s all owned by the same company.

They are a rouge casino, known to be stealing from players and business partners alike, the full detailed analysis and proof of their theft can be found in the review of their main casino Black Lotus Casino.

Treasure Mile is a somewhat neglected secondary sister site of Black Lotus Casino.

Initially, I was a member of this casino group for about 4-5 years (specifically the flagship website. I’ve seen the group change hands and expand into a bigger casino group from its humble beginnings.

They are in operation for at least 8+ years.

However, lately they have gone rouge, and they started severely limiting how much winnings players can withdraw (the maximum amount last time I checked was $5000, but according to player complaints online, even significantly less causes problems, months of delays, if the players get their money at all).

On top of this, I have proof they have stolen money from me. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend this scam casino platform!

Treasure Mile casino licence: They have a Curacao gambling licence (you can check the licence here). Curacao licenses are among the worse, more shady gambling licenses.

They are known to openly harbour criminal online casinos (e.g.: like all of the Genesys Technologies N.V. casinos), who openly accept US players, even though the country claims publicly that they don’t allow their license holders to do such things (because they were sued by the World Trade Organization over this).

Obviously, this is far from the truth, and about 90% of the Curacao licensed online platforms, including Lotus Asia do accept players from the USA, illegally. It’s actually best to avoid any of the Curacao licensed casinos pretty much.

/Comment: But I have to admit, not all of the Curaçao licensed online gambling platforms are bad. But quite a lot of them are./

They also accept credit cards from US players, which is also illegal (due to anti money laundering laws, international laws, and political pressure from the USA), and the country of Curaçao publicly stated that such behaviour among licensees is not tolerated. Regardless, they have been doing it at least since 2013, which is a good indication as to what sort of company this is.

And the USA is not the only country they accept players from illegally, that would be a long list.

Before we get to the review, I have to deduct -20 points for them stealing money from me, and other players. And because of this, the review below is just symbolic (but I tried to be as objective as I can, despite the theft).

Under no circumstances should you trust this criminal casino group with sensitive information, credit card number, passwords, etc…. They will abuse it! And if you look around online (past the first page, because that is full of their fake, paid casino reviews) you can find plenty of horror stories.

A quick Google search for “Treasure Mile  scam”, “Treasure Mile casino didn’t pay me” or “Genesys casino affiliate scam” or “genesys casinos group doesn’t pay affiliate commission” will quickly reveal other similar horror stories from both players and affiliate partners, who were scammed by Genesys and their casinos.

1., Who can play: The most important thing for a player in a new casino is whether you can actually play or not, so here is the list of all the countries not accepted at Treasure Mile Casino.

So before you read any further, let’s determine whether you can actually play at the casino at all.

So if you are from the UK, and you currently temporarily reside in France, you should give them your UK address.

And they will check the address on your ID, if it’s not the same as what you put down during registration, they will instantly perma-ban you. And all your winnings will be confiscated, no matter how much you won! Be careful! /

 

 

It’s a short list. Very few restricted countries. They get +1 points for accepting players from many different countries.

/Comment: However, the reason they are accepting players from so many countries is because they do it illegally. The truth is, Curacao licensed casinos shouldn’t accept payers from the USA, or the UK, and many other countries, due to international laws.

The reason I added a “?” at United Kingdom and United States is because you can clearly register and play from the states, or the UK. It’s actually one of the selling points of the casino.

They are always described as a US player accepting casino on every gambling blog and review site.

And if you check the registration form, you can definitely select both the UK and US as your country when trying to register. It’s clearly not true.

UPDATE 2021: I explained above why they do this, because they shouldn’t officially accept players from these countries, and they pretend that they don’t. That’s why they lie in their terms and conditions. It’s a criminal offence actually, -2 points.

Just like all the other casinos of this network, Treasure Mile aggressively tries to push the registration form in your face, trying to force you to register, it’s unnecessarily agressive.

I can’t check out the games, no demo mode, can’t read the details of promotions, almost everything on the website is hidden behind the registration form, -1 point.

2., Games: The second most important thing to players is the number, and also the quality of the games.

The best software developers are only available to non-US casinos. Therefore Treasure Mile already starts with a disadvantage.

However, Treasure Mile works with Saucify (a good software developer) Betsoft (average, below average games), Genii (below average and some bad games) and Rival (below average and bad games).

It’s a mixed bag, but there are some good games there, above average selection for a US casino.

But they only have 200 games, which is really not that much, even for a US casino, -1 point.

 

 

Most of these games are mobile compatible, except for the older ones. Above average quality for a US casino, but the selection is tiny,

3., Deposit and withdrawal options: The third most important thing to players are the deposit and withdrawal options. You obviously can’t win anything unless you bet money. And Treasure Mile needs to improve in this area too.

To deposit money you have the following options:

• Skrill
• Neteller
• Ecocard
• Bitcoin

 

Treasure Mile Casino accepts credit cards! Which is great for US players, because due to legal reasons credit card companies refuse to deal with most US casinos. This is one of the few exceptions.

They also accept Bitcoin.

More methods than most casino, which accepts US players. Most definitely don’t accept credit cards and cryptocurrency.

However, these were only for depositing money, for withdrawing money, only the following methods are available:

• Neteller
• Cheque

 

Credit cards are not available when ti comes to withdrawing money from the casino, -1 point.

It’s definitely an inconvenience that they don’t just send your winnings to your credit card, the same card you used to deposit, but that’s the law. Payment processors are independent third party legal entities and it’s really strictly regulated, international transactions especially. I know for certain that this is not their fault.

A big issue IMO is that the minimum withdrawal amount is $150. I can understand a limit of $50, because of the extremely high cost of wire transfer in the US, but $150 seems excessive, -1 point.

Still, they get -2 point deduction for limited options to withdraw funds and having a relatively high minimum withdrawal amount. (Use Bitcoin or wire transfer to get the money you won, I live in Europe, wire transfers are free, that’s what I used. I got my money in a few days. But if you live in the USA, Bitcoin or Neteller might be better to avoid the crushing, usually $50-30 fee for international wire transfers. It’s crazy how expensive wire transfer is in the US! Unbelievable! The casino doesn’t cover the wire transfer cost, they deduct it from your winnings.)

However, all you get from them are 30-40x wagering requirement casino bonuses, with strict playthrough requirements, which are designed to make it impossible for players to ever withdraw their winnings, -1point.

 

-Mobile compatibility: The casino is mobile compatible, most games work on mobile devices, the website is pretty user friendly.

You can tell the older games were not designed for such small screens originally. But that’s not the casino’s fault.

All the games are instant-play, accessible right from the browser, no download necessary (on mobile it is necessary, you have to download the app), everything is cross-platform and cross-browser compatible.

 

-Other reviews: Treasure Mile Casino has very few reviews, but the few out there are ranging from 1/10 to 6/10.

The 1/10 reviews claim that this is a scam site, and some people report that it takes them months to get their winnings, even if it’s as little as a $1000.

This is true.

My own experience with the company was actually even worse, and even after 50 emails over a period of 6 weeks, all I got was radio silence. And the money they owe me is still not on my bank account, and probably never will be.

They downright steal from people, -1 points.

And based on the other reviews and player complaints out there, they have been doing it for a while.

 

-Casino bonuses: Treasure Mile has bad bonuses, usually 40x wagering requirement (anything above 30x is considered a bad casino bonus).

The bonuses for returning players are the worst (for returning players the wagering requirement is usually 50x).
