Online casino gambling is not specifically regulated in Suriname, a former Dutch colony in South America. Suriname gained its independence in 1975, and while it is considered to belong to the Caribbean area culturally, it is not a part of the so called Dutch Caribbean.

The largest casino in the country is the Suriname Princess Hotel & Casino, also known as Ramada Paramaribo Princess Hotel. The casino features over 300 gaming machines and 17 gaming tables spread out over 20000 square feet.

Table games available at the Princess Casino include Blackjack, Roulette, Punto Banco, Baccarat and Poker. Tournaments and lottery draws are also held regularly in the casino. Suriname Princess Hotel & Casino also features two restaurants, a bar and an exclusive club.

Online gambling in Suriname is in general not specifically regulated, but also not banned. There are very few online gambling operators based in Suriname, and they offer online versions of the games they operate in land-based establishments as well. An example of this is the previously mentioned Pasha Global.

The other important online gambling site in Suriname is Suribet, which operates the national lottery of Suriname as well. Suribet offers practically all of its games online as well, including lottery draws, sports betting and live betting.

While lottery is technically a monopoly in Suriname, there are no laws in the country restricting online casino gambling, especially for individual players. This means that gamblers in Suriname are actually free to participate in international online lottery draws.

The same is true for pretty much all other forms of gambling. Officially, operators must apply for a licence in order to offer their games legally within Suriname. However, locals are free to play on any unlicensed international online gambling site with no repercussions, whether it is online sports betting, online bingo, online poker, or some other type of online game.
