Casino Adjara is the biggest Georgian casino currently, in operation since 1998. It is located right next door to a Holiday Inn Hotel.
There is a huge slot section with 295 slot machines, by far the biggest in the country. Beyond that here is Club Prive, an exclusive high-limit VIP lounge with two gaming rooms.
On the first floor there is a bar and a poker club with daily tournaments and cash games starting at 19:00 and it is open as long as there are players. Registration is not required. There are also poker tables downstairs, as part of the main gambling area, which is open 24/7.

Casino Iveria is advertised as a casino with “European interior, international standard of service” (not specified which European country they meant, and there is no international, standardized service levels in the casino sector, the same way as hotels have the star rating, and restaurants the Michelin stars, there is no equivalent of such in the casino world….).
Besides the marketing gimmick, what is certain about the casino is that it has been in operation since 2009.
Interestingly Hotel Iveria (seen on the left, in which the casino is located) was a refugee camp for a long time, and it was extremely dilapidated and it was known for criminal activity, drugs and alcoholism. As much as a 1000 refugees were housed in it for 10 years. Now it’s one of the most luxurious and prestigious building in Tbilisi, a testament to the changing city, going from bad and poor to good and opulent.

Casino Amabassodiri aims to be an “an elite gambling club” as they call it on their website, of the upper classes. It has a VIP program with “status cards” and higher level members are escorted to the casino with expensive cars, get free rooms, can use private rooms (it has 3 private rooms).
Higher level members also eat for free in the restaurant.

One of the youngest and most modern casino, in operation since 2015, advertised as the “first casino of the global gaming community” (which means it’s owned by a very rich foreign company, which has the money to buy the best of everything). It is located in the building of the Hilton Hotel of Batumi.
This smaller casino has the most modern and best equipment out of all the Georgian casinos, you can tell no expense was spared (see the video below).
The gaming area is really spacious, huge gaming floor, large private rooms, conference center, all with elegant and modern design and with palm trees at the entrance. The venue is owned by Casinos Austria, an Austria based casino company with casinos all over the world.

This establishment is more known for the hotel than the casino. The hotel has 180 rooms, rated 5 stars, with 80 luxurious suites, 13 large suites, and 1 presidential suite. The complex was formerly called Leogrand Casino & Hotel, before it was sold to its new owner, also known as Jrw Welmond Hotel Spa Casino.
In terms of gaming area this is the second largest casino of Georgia (1270 m2 + 1200 m2 spread out over two floors).
Despite the size it doesn’t have that many slot machines or tables, and it is also not as popular as the other casinos in the city.

 Kiva helps young entrepreneurs in developing countries, which is an issue close to my heart for obvious reasons. If you have the means, please sign up with the revolutionary non-profit company Kiva.org and help people lift themselves out of poverty, through hard-work, and an initial investment (non-profit loan). These non-profit loans encourage entrepreneurship and hard work instead of creating a dependent class that is afraid to get a job, or start a business (because if they did, they would no longer get support and free money, disincentivizing hard work and entrepreneurship).
