This is the official logo of the Grand Eagle online gambling website. The digital image consist of gold letters spelling "Grand Eagle Casino" over a white background and a golden eagle, which is the symbol of the platform. Grand Eagle is a scammer Genesys Technologies casino, infamous for stealing money from players and affiliates. You can read the review of this online casino under the picture.

Grand Eagle Casino review

About the casino: Grand Eagle casino is a smaller, somewhat neglected online casino, part of the infamous Genesys Technologies online casinos (and also part of the Lotus Players Club, a subsection of the Genesys casinos, which share a common loyalty, program).

The casino has been in operation for about 8 years. The flagship casino of the group is the Black Lotus Casino, you can the review of it here.

I strongly recommend avoiding this casino, and all the other casinos of this group. They are known scammers, and have been caught stealing from players and affiliates alike.

In fact, they have been stealing from me as well, proof of this theft was uploaded here, within the review of the Black Lotus Casino, their main website.

They haven’t always been these lying, scamming, stealing criminals they are now. For years, things worked out fine, and they even advertised on this site.

/Comment: Not this casino though, this was always a neglected secondary platform, only their main casino advertised on this gambling blog./

I’ve seen them expand from their very humble beginnings into a bigger casino group with 18 casinos in total.

However, I assume due to financial difficulties (this is still considered a small casino company), they have stared stealing money from players and affiliate partners.

They also regularly publish fake, paid reviews on casino blogs, who are willing to publish lies for money.

/Comment: Every positive review of these scammers is a paid fake review. You can identify these fake reviews easily. They always have multiple banner ads of the casino on the page./

Grand Eagle casino licence: They have a Curacao license (you can check the licence here).

Curacao licenses are among the worse, more shady gambling licenses.

They are known to openly harbour rouge online casinos (e.g.: like all of the Genesys Technologies N.V. casinos), who openly accept US players, even though the country claims publicly that they don’t allow their license holders to do such things*.

/Comment: Both the EU and the Netherlands are pressuring them to abide by the international rules and laws**, they of course don’t, because they get too much money from these criminal gambling sites. Not to mention, all of these Caribbean offshore tax havens are disgustingly corrupt places, where much of the dirty money of the world is kept, and they are routinely used for tax evasion and money laundering./

About 90% of the Curacao licensed online platforms, including Grand Eagle, does accept players from the USA, illegally.

/Comment: But I have to admit, not all of the Curaçao licensed online gambling platforms are bad. But quite a lot of them are./

They also accept credit cards from US players, which is also illegal (due to anti money laundering laws, international laws). And the country of Curaçao publicly stated that such behaviour among licensees is not tolerated.

Regardless, they have been doing it at least since 2013, which is a good indication as to what sort of company this is.

And the USA is not the only country they accept players from illegally, that would be a long list.

UPDATE 2021: If this wasn’t enough, Curaçao was implicated in the worst and biggest online gambling data leak in the world, when the details of 108 million wagers, spins were exposed online. Attached to these exposed bets were such vital private info as:

  • real names of players
  • residential address details
  • e-mail addresses
  • phone numbers
  • details about date of birth
  • user names at the different sites
  • and most importantly and worryingly: information about the credit card used

Genesys Club Casinos: The other casinos of this scammer group are: Lucky Creek, Lotus Asia, Treasure Mile, Big Dollar, Black Lotus, make sure to avoid them as well, same company owns them, same customer support (or lack thereof), same affiliate program, same games.

Not all of the casinos of this rouge network have dedicated reviews on this site (I only reviewed the bigger ones of the group), the other low quality scam platforms of this group are:

Avoid all of them.

Additionally, sometimes they hide behind the following programs and shell companies:

  • Top Refer Affiliates
  • Lotus Affiliates
  • Ultimaterevenue
  • Ardway Limited
  • Genesys Technologies

All of these companies are registered in tax havens, and in addition to illegally accepting players from the USA, and credit cards from US players, they work with shady payment processors and they are actively evading paying any taxes (there are also yet unconfirmed allegations of money laundering as well).

Conclusion:
If you don’t have the time to read the full review below, just read this short summary:

PLEASE AVOID THIS CASINO AT ALL COST! AND ALL THE OTHER GENESYS CASINOS! They started to scam and steal money from their players, and affiliate partners.

/Instead of this online casino, I wholeheartedly recommend the following gambling platform (click to see). They have significantly more games, and they have sports betting and poker too. And they are not involved in any scandals. And they have been around for 15+ years. It’s currently the best rated US player accepting online casino on this site. And it is my current personal favourite US casino as well./

Grand Eagle gambling platform review methodology

Click on the drop down menu below if you are interested in the review process, methodology, and the system by which each casino is reviewed, scored, compared and evaluated.

And also, you can read the detailed explanation as to why US player accepting, and non US player accepting internet casinos differ so much.

Grand Eagle digital gambling site review criteria

The picture is comprised of a speech bubble, like the one in comics, with the words "Simon says", a pun, and a play on the name of the blog, which is Simon's Gambling Blog and my own name: Simon András Péter (writer, owner and founder of this gambling website). This is the image of the 'Simon says' part of my casino reviews, where I explain the differences between US player accepting, and non US player accepting digital casino platforms. Next to this picture is my description of my review methodology and explanation of the scoring system and data points analysed.

US vs. non-us casinos

There are two very different types when it comes to online casinos, casinos, which accept US players, and casinos which do not accept US players. Grand Eagle is firmly the former, not accepting players from the USA or US territories.

This is a very important distinction to make, because radically different games are available at these platforms for legal reasons, and they should be reviewed differently.

Primarily European (primarily targeting European players, mostly licensed in Europe, UK gambling licence often) gambling websites always have better and more games, because software providers, due to licensing and legal issues don’t work with casinos, which accept US players.

And it shows.

Grand Eagle has around 200 games, mostly slots, some video poker, some table games. While a typical European casino has about 1000+ games and has interesting unique games as well, including live dealer games, digital sports betting, regular sports betting, digital scratchcards, game show type games like Deal or No Deal etc…, but they don’t accept US players.

Therefore, a US casino is always going to look bad compared to a European online gambling website.

A good US casino would still be only 3/10 if you compared it to European, non-US player accepting casino. And that is why I rate them separately, US casinos are only compared to other USA casinos.

Therefore, when you see a US casino that is 7-8/10 but only has 300 games, it gets a higher score because of the different context, and because it is for different players.

As you can see, US players have it worse, significantly. But, C’est La Vie.

And this is also the reason why I don’t advise non-US players to play in US casinos, ever.

Just wanted to mention this, to avoid confusion as to why a 300 games US casino might get the same score as a EU powerhouse with 1000+ games.

/You can read more about why this is, and about the legal status of domestic and offshore gambling, online gambling in the USA here. Be warned, pretty complicated, dry read./

This is the illustration right next to my review and research methodology part. You can read about my review methodology, and scoring system I use throughout the review, to the right of the picture.

Review methodology

Review methodology: In each section I review one of the primary attributes of the casino, these are: list of countries not accepted, list of games, deposit and withdrawal process and methods and uniqueness.

Each of these aspects then gets points ranging from +2, meaning exceptionally good, to -2, exceptionally bad.

Additionally at end of the review I go through what I consider to be less important secondary attributes, such as: live support chat, VIP/loyalty program, mobile compatibility, other reviews, bonuses, promotions, reputation.

At the end I tally all the points and add and subtract them from 10. This will give the final score of the casino. I use a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the best and 1 being the worst, no 0 or minus scores.

Grand Eagle Scam

Before we get to the review, I have to deduct -20 points for them stealing money from me, and other players. And because of this, the review below is just symbolic (but I tried to be as objective as I can, despite the theft).

Under no circumstances should you trust this criminal casino group with sensitive information, credit card number, passwords, etc…. They will abuse it! And if you look around online (past the first page, because that is full of their fake, paid casino reviews) you can find plenty of cautionary tales.

A quick Google search for “Grand Eagle scam”, “Grand Eagle casino didn’t pay me” or “Genesys casino affiliate scam” or “genesys casinos group doesn’t pay affiliate commission” will quickly reveal other similar horror stories from both players and affiliate partners, who were scammed by Genesys and their casinos.

Scam: -20 points

Grand Eagle online casino review

The review of Grand Eagle mobile casino consist of the following sections (click on the links below to jump to that section):

1., Who can play: The first thing you should check if you are new to a casino is whether you can actually play or not. Here is the list of all the countries and territories, whence Grand Eagle does not accept players.

/Clarification: The country of your residence, your official address, what’s on your ID card (or address card if it’s a separate thing in your country) is what you should be checking, not your current residence.

This is really important, because if you win, they will ask for your ID and/or address card to make sure you are who you said you are on the registration form.

And they will check the address on your ID.

If it’s not the same as what you put down during registration, they will instantly perma-ban you. And all your winnings will be confiscated, no matter how much you won! Be careful! /

Grand Eagle Casino casino review - list of countries not accepted

Grand Eagle Casino does not accept players from:

Everyone else can register and play at the casino.

It’s a short list, and considering they are licensed in Curacao, it is not surprising (it’s not a restrictive licence, or a good one…).

They get +1 points for accepting players from many different countries.

However, as a gambling blogger with 10+ years of experience in the gambling industry. I can already tell that they accept players illegally form both the US and the UK, that’s why I added question marks there.

Clearly, you can register and play from the USA, or the UK. They are intentionally lying in the terms & conditions, which is a huge red flag, indicative of a shady rouge casino, -2 points.

If you actually read the T & C, you can see that they can close your account at any time, whenever they feel like it, and you won’t be give an explanation, very shady. These are so called “predatory terms”, another telltale sign of a unethical online casino.

These casinos usually just kick players who win big, instead of paying them their winnings. An be careful this has happened to players at this casino according to player complaints online.

They also accept players illegally from many more countries, not just the UK and US.

Also, in the footer section there are weird links to other low quality casinos, these casinos are not even part of the Lotus Player’s Club. This is a so called “link-exchange” or (link selling if they charge money for it) it’s a looked down upon online marketing (SEO) technique, considered unethical, shady and outdated.

But more importantly: It’s weird! It certainly doesn’t generate trust for the casino among new players at the website. -1 point.

Another issue with the website. The terms and conditions is not readable unless you register! If you click on it the registration form pops up.

I’m pretty sure this is illegal, at least here in Europe. Deduction, -1 point.

Summary:

Accessibility, number of countries accepted: +1
Issues in the terms and conditions: -2
Weird links in the footer: -1
Terms and conditions not readable unless you register -1

———

Total: -2 (would be -3, but the counter only goes from +2 to -2 per section)

2., Games: The second most important thing to players is the number, and also the quality of the games.

Grand Eagle starts with a disadvantage here, because the best software providers (Net Ent, Microgaming, Practical Gaming to name three of my favourites) do not work with online casinos, which accept US players, for legal and political reasons.

Grand Eagle works with Saucify (an okay software developer) Betsoft (average, below average games) and Genii (below average and some bad games) software developers.

It’s a mixed bag, not bad for a US casino though. However, they only have around 200 games, mostly slots, nothing interesting, nothing unique. This is not enough nowadays, even for a US casino, I deduct –1 point for the very limited selection.

Grand Eagle Casino - list of games

The full list of games at Grand Eagle Casino casino. All the 200 games.

Slots

Band Outta Hell, Traces of Evidence, Vikingdom, Mrs Green’s Plant Emporium, Beat Bots, Legends of Olympia, BigFroot, Gems n Jewels, Big Game, Buckin’ Broncos, Tails of New York, Royal Banquet, and so many more.
Golden Gorilla, Alien Spinvasion, Lucky Labyrinth, Jolly Rogers Jackpot, Whale O’ Winnings, Catsino, Windy Farm, Lion’s Roar, Scary Rich, Misfit Toyland, and Arabian Tales to mention a few.
Birds! Frankenslot’s Monster, A Christmas Carol, Black Gold, The Tipsy Tourist, The Slotfather, Puppy Love, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, 7th Heaven, The Golden Owl of Athena, The Angler, Alkemor’s Tower, etc.

Table Games and video poker

3 Wheel Roulette, Single Blackjack, Baccarat, Caribbean Poker, Texas Hold’em Bonus, Wan Doy Pairs Poker, Roulette Master. Video poker: Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild Power Poker, Phantom Belle Bonus, Whack-a-Jackpot, Hi-Lo Techno and Granny Prix.

Roulette has classic roulette, Premium Roulette and French Roulette.

Blackjack games: Classic blackjack, Premium Blackjack, Blackjack Switch, Perfect Blackjack, Unlimited Blackjack, Alexandrite Blackjack, Royale Blackjack, Hi-Low, Spin-A-Win and Sic-bo.

Live games

none

Most of these games are mobile compatible.
Games: -1

3., Deposit and withdrawal options: The third most important thing to a player are the deposit and withdrawal options. You obviously can’t win anything unless you bet money. And in this area Grand Eagle needs to improve too. Grand Eagle has the following deposit methods available for players:

  • Skrill,
  • Neteller
  • Credit cards
  • Ecocard
  • Bitcoin

Grand Eagle Casino accepts credit cards. Which is great for US players, because due to legal reasons credit card companies refuse to deal with the overwhelming majority of US player accepting casinos.

/Comment: However, they accept credit cards illegally, by working with the least reputable payment processors. Officially, Curacao licensed casinos, ever since the Netherlands and EU steeped in, shouldn’t be able to accept credit cards from the USA.

They do so anyway, illegally, -2 points./

They also accept Bitcoin, +1 point. More methods than most casino that accepts US players, most of them definitely don’t accept credit cards and also crypto.

However! These were only for depositing money, when it comes to withdrawing money the following methods are available:

  • Skrill,
  • Neteller
  • Cheque
  • Ecocard
  • Bitcoin
  • Wire transfer

They don’t let players withdraw money to their credit cards. It’s definitely an inconvenience that they don’t just send your winnings to your credit card, the same card you used to deposit, -1 point.

Another big issue is that the minimum withdrawal amount is $150. I can understand a limit of $50, because of the extremely high cost of wire transfer in the US, but $150 seems excessive.

Summary:

Illegally accepts credit cards from the US by working with shady payment processors: -2 points

Cryptocurrency accepted: +1

Credit cards can’t be used for withdrawals: -1

———

Total: -2

4., Uniqueness: And the last one I think we all are looking for in an online casino is innovation, unique and interesting new online gambling games and features.

Anything that makes you “Wow, that’s amazing.”.

Does Grand Eagle Casino has the so called ‘wow-factor’?

No, not at all. This is a small, forgettable, 12 a dozen online casino platform.

Innovation, interesting, unique features/games: 0, none

The following are less important optional factors, but still contribute to the total score:

-Live support chat: Grand Eagle has live chat support. 24/7, +1 point.

However, this is typical outsourced, shared service center customer support. It usually consist of people (probably Indians using fake names) who never even played in an online casino in their entire, they simply just copy-paste template answers. It’s a low quality customer support in my experience.

Sadly, that’s industry standard nowadays.

VIP, loyalty program:

All casinos of the Lotus Player Club (a subset of the Genesys Club casinos) have the same loyalty program. On the surface, it sounds good. It has 4 levels, various bonuses and promotions.

However, the actual bonuses themselves are very bad, and all of them, even at higher tiers, have really high wagering requirements: 30x or 40x (everything above 30x is considered bad, and they were made to make the players lose money), -1 point.

-Mobile compatibility: The casino is mobile compatible, most games work on most mobile phones, tablets. Everything is cross-platform and cross-browser compatible.

-Other reviews: Grand Eagle doesn’t have many reviews online (it’s a neglected small secondary website of the Genesys Group), but the few they do have, are usually very bad reviews, ranging from 0/10 to 2/10 (discounting some obviously fake paid reviews).

The 1/10 and 0/10 reviews are especially worrying.

There are claims that this is a scam site, and some former players report that it takes them months to get their winnings, even if it’s as little as a $1000.

Sadly this is all true, I can confirm it myself.. In fact, it’s even worse. If you win any sort of bigger amount you will never see your winnings.

Not to mention they are know to be working with some really shady payment processors. Therefore, even your credit card information is not safe with them.

They have a very bad reputation, and they have been implicated in scams and scandals previously, -1 point.

-Casino bonuses: All casinos of this group have the same bonuses, and they are really bad bonuses. These casino promotions usually have 40x wagering requirements (sometimes even higher, 50x or 60x) and really bad playthrough limitations, -1 point.

Total score: Grand Eagle gets 0/10, 0/5 stars, it’s a scam casino that is stealing money from their players and affiliate partners. Avoid it, And I strongly recommend you stop playing at this gambling site as soon as possible, if you are currently a member.

That's me, Simon, thank you for visiting.

Don't worry, this is not an ad! ;) Just wanted to make sure to tell you that I'm glad you visited this gambling blog. I'm Simon, the only author and the man behind this blog (if you are interested, my unusual life story can be found on the homepage, under the "About me" dropdown section).
I'm an independent gambling blogger since 2012. In this sector dominated by huge media companies, casino operators and online marketing networks, who can easily spend $ millions on their online gambling blogs, it's not easy for an independent nobody like me to survive. It took me about 6 years, working my ass off, to even have a chance to be noticed by visitors like you. I'm lucky enough that for a few years now, I make enough money to be able to do this full time (before that, I had part-time jobs, ghost writing gigs, online marketing this and that).
Now I can finally do this full time, thanks to visitors like you! And it means a lot! If you are interested, please bookmark this site (no social media profiles, I no longer have any, but please feel free to share anything on any social media networks, if you still use them). I don't have any money to advertise, and if you have a personal blog, any social media profile, please mention my gambling blog and link back to it. This the only way for a small website like this to grow. Thank you!
